Huge congratulations to ESP6 Chio Ian Wun Hannah 肖欣媛 for receiving a Merit award in the Upper Primary category at The 24th Macao-wide English Speech Contest & the “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition Macao Regional Contest. Organised by Macau Polytechnic University (MPU), this event promotes English learning and teaching across Macao under this year’s theme, “The 15th National Games”.
In the preliminary round on October 11, 2025, Hannah, along with 65 other upper primary students from Macau, delivered an original 2-minute memorised speech on the topic, “The benefits of doing sports”, and responded to a judge’s question under timed conditions. Her strong score secured her a spot among the top 10 finalists, who went on to compete on stage at MPU in the finals held on November 1, 2025. There, she delivered her prepared speech and answered two questions from a panel of judges. We are truly proud of your dedication, hard work and confidence in representing our school and letting your voice be heard, Hannah! ???
